THERE’S A PAIR of shoes at Boutique Quinto that’s been haunting me for a month – high, high-heeled, narrow-toed, tomato-red delicious in pleated leather. And they’re $99.95. But thanks to Regina Shoe Store, 660 Queen St. W., I’ve found an alternative. They, too, have a pair of unforgettable red shoes; snakeskin pumps with a lower heel and slightly curved toes – for $15. They’ve never been worn, and have been sitting in their slightly dusty box for probably 30 years waiting for some penny-pinching esthete to come and claim them. Read more…
